Gili Trawangan

Hey guys,
The next stop on our island hop was to Gili Trawangan. Admittedly, we didn't take a ton of pictures as we were mostly diving here, so it will be a rather short one.
This was shot as we ferried from Nusa Lembongan to Gili T.
Shortly after arriving on Gili T, we found this outfit- Blue Marlin Dive. We ended up having a great time doing fun dives with them. What's even better is that diving is so cheap in this part of the world- $35 USD for a dive.

BCDs all lined up, let's dive!
These style of boats were very common all over Indonesia, they had these big pipes attached on each side to make them steadier. You had to be careful not to get hit by them when getting back in the dive boat! This view is looking back at the 'mainland' of Lombok. Not very far away really, but definitely had a great little-island vibe.

One time we watched hockey at the beachside bar

These little horse drawn taxis took people all over the island. It is such a small island, Jared and I never bothered. Plus I felt bad for them.

Nice meal of grilled fish the night before we flew out to Labanbajo, where we would get on our live-aboard dive boat for the Komodos. I also included a few pics at the end of this blog showing the views from the plane. When the reef looks that good from the sky, you  know its going to be good!

 Until Next Time!
